Arguium streams audio to a realtime transcription model over a persistent connection — or, on Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26, transcribes on the Mac itself with Apple Speech. Text appears as the sentence is still being spoken, and the answer starts streaming as soon as the speaker finishes.
Rather than recording a file and uploading it when you stop, Arguium maintains a live streaming session. Transcription and response generation overlap with the conversation instead of following it.
Capture the other side of the call through system audio, your own voice through the microphone, or both at once on Premium. Speaker separation keeps the transcript readable.
On Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26, choose Apple Speech and transcription happens on the Mac: free, with no credits used for it and no audio sent to a transcription service. Answers still come from the AI model you use.
With Questions on, Arguium decides which lines need an answer and stays quiet for the rest. Press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+A (Answer This) to answer the last thing said right away, even a line it skipped. When you stop, Quick Actions summarize the session, list action items or draft follow-up questions in one tap. For anything else, click Ask under the voice window and type your own question about the conversation, live or after the call.
The interface and transcription support English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese. The cloud engine detects the spoken language automatically; Apple Speech listens in one language per session.
Voice mode is designed to survive hour-long calls — automatic reconnection on network drops, backpressure handling on the audio pipeline, and no loss of the final transcript when you stop the recording.
English, Spanish, French, German and Portuguese, both for the app interface and for live transcription.
The session reconnects automatically and resumes streaming. Audio buffered during the drop is committed rather than discarded.
Yes, on Macs with Apple silicon running macOS 26: choose Apple Speech and transcription happens on the Mac, free, with no credits used for it. It listens in one language per session, so pick the language you will speak (Auto uses your Mac’s system language). Answers still come from the AI model you use.
Yes. Click ❚❚ inside the microphone button, or press Cmd/Ctrl+Shift+D. While paused, Arguium hears nothing and no listening time is charged: the microphone and system audio are released. Resume with ▶ (in its place) or the shortcut and the AI still remembers the conversation.
